*Based on Objective Resolution drafted and moved by Nehru on Constitution Assembly 

*It reflects minds of constitution makers *1976 42 nd Amendment act added 3 words Socialist ,Secular and Integrity. 

* No articles in preamble 

*Berubari case(1960)-Preamble is not a part of Indian Constitution

*Kesavananthi Bharathi Case(1973)-Preamble is a part of Indian Constitution

*LIC(1995)-Preamble is integral part of Indian constitution

AMENDABILITY OF PREAMBLE

*Till now Preamble only amended once ie)42 nd Amendment act.
